I'll go off-topic on something we've debated on in the past. I got an e-mail this morning from eBay stating they will be running their "gimmick" of a listing deal for the next MONTH! If this doesn't convince you that they are essentially breaking even with this promotion, than I don't know what will. It's a joke and the fact that the listing has to start under $9.99 makes it even worse. This is the worst idea they have ever come up with.

Yet again, the big boys won't list their high-end material, and the folks who don't realize what eBay is actually doing will continue to be listing their $5 nameplates and "funny-money" such as yourself. Enjoy the great deal and thumbnail you're getting.

And I don't mean to be rude here, eBay has just struck a nerve.

I thought about you when I opened that email today. Either eBay is feeling very generous or they are really hurting for sellers... And we all know that they don't feel generous very often.
As far as selling smaller items on eBay, I would be listing those items whether they are running the promotion or not. Just trying to get rid of some junk.
