For those of you who aren't familiar with Rick Giddings, he is the Illinois-based dealer who owns Gizmo's Sportscards. Rick is a good guy and I'm very impressed how he's built his business up, after starting about eight years ago.

He often appears at the major card shows, including SportsFest 2008, where I took this video.

Rick called me last week to let me know that he will no longer be authenticating signatures for Global Authentication. He was authenticating sigs for GAI for a few years, and may either take a position at another company or said he may just stick with dealing cards. According to Giddings, he was unhappy with the company's new management.
