I usually don’t feel weird about items I see in an auction, but in
Heritage’s upcoming Signature sale I was left feeling a little odd, kind of like I just watched a cheesy soap opera or something.
CLICK HERESeems like HA’s consignor somehow got some really cool, early Joe Montana stuff, and in the batch was this lot of
hand-written love letters. Hmm… I don’t think I’ll be going after this lot.

After yesterday’s blog, it seems like Gavel Chat readers wanted a more thorough Sun-Times Show update, so here it goes:
Pictured here is my buddy Dennis Jose, owner of
Chicagotix.com. He looks pretty darn happy in the photo and he should. His table was flooded with people the entire show, as they sifted through his selection of significant game tickets.
Former Global autograph authenticator
Justin Priddy had a booth set up promoting his new company, Ace Authentic. According to a worker at his table, Priddy will be the only authenticator as of right now certifying autos for the new venture.

Speaking of Global, GAI had a table set up and were offering different specials. It seems like the company is back on track after the issued they faced a few months ago.
Beckett was passing out their new magazine’s, which featured multi-sports pricing in the same publication, something Tuff Stuff has been doing for years.
Stay tuned for tomorrow’s blog. I'll be getting a PSA label update from Joe Orlando. It appears the grading company has subtly changed the layout of the labels on its graded cards. I think it was just done in order to fit the half grades on the flips in a more eye-appealing fashion, but Joe will be calling me to address my questions.
