Tom Riccio releases O.J. book
Posted by Chris

Attached to the blog is a press conference that Universal Rarities Auction's former owner Tom Riccio recently conducted to promote this new book about the O.J. Simpson Las Vegas hotel bust that was set up last year.

For those who don't remember the story, Riccio set up the meeting for Simpson to get back his memorabilia from a crazed fan and when they conducted the meeting at the Palace Station casino/hotel in Sin City, all hell broke loose.

I got the chance to meet Riccio a few times during my time at American Memorabilia and I will tell you that he is quite the character. I actually am looking forward to checking out this book. According to the press conference, Riccio said that the book will contain other tidbits about the hobby and not just the Simpson garbage. I just read an article in Trade Fax about the book and it has an excerpt from Riccio saying that he is "out to make as much money as I can off this incident."

Very classy. Gotta love America!
